Collection: Bumblebee Jasper

This jasper is the combination of volcanic matter, anhydrite, hematite, sulfur, arsenic and many others.
The yellow color comes from sulfur, which is toxic, like arsenic, so care must be taken - always wash your hands after handling.

The name of this crystal is purely commercial, as it is a colored fibrous calcite.
It is a rare crystal, difficult and dangerous to acquire, as the mine is located inside an active volcano in Indonesia, more specifically Mount Papadayan in East Java.
